The Learning Centre @ Colchester
The Learning Centre @ Colchester offers a range of courses in the friendly environment of The Learning Shop. Study is flexible. Student’s book morning or afternoon sessions to work at the Centre and can also work from home. Students receive support at The Centre from qualified staff.
Free English and Maths courses.
Students are initially booked for an assessment at The Centre which identifies the best level of course for them to begin at. Most students aim to achieve the Level 2 Certificate in Numeracy and Literacy which opens many doors to studying further or work opportunities.
IT Courses.
Students can learn something new or develop their IT skills further. Courses can be taken as standalone modules or can lead to the European Computer Driving Licence ECDL Extra Level 2 qualification.
